The Doors
Beit Castel certainly owes much of its fame to the beautiful hand painted doors that welcome our visitors.
Painted by Rolly Sheffer, the doors depict pomegranates, olives and grapes among other Galilean and traditional Jewish symbols. Never failing to stop passing visitors in their tracks, they are certainly a unique and stunning characteristic of the house, hinting at the beauty found within. Complimenting the architecture, gardens and paintings, one can simply visit solely to gaze delightfully at them.
